Depression and Headspace

Depression and Headspace

Headspace is a youth mental health initiative established by the Australian government in 2006. It offers support for those aged 12 to 25 years on a range of issues including depression. Young people and their families can get support at a headspace centre located at more than 90 centres across Australia. These centres can be accessed for free or at a low cost. Headspace gives you access to a variety of health professionals. They can assist with general health concerns, counselling, education and employment services. Alternatively you can access eheadspace - an online and telephone support service. Go to www.eheadspace.org.au for more information or call 1800 650 890.
